# Users

One set of credentials across webhotelier, RoomPulse and Revhero — the 3 roles, and how access is given.

Revhero is fully integrated with the webhotelier ecosystem and uses single sign-on. One set of webhotelier credentials moves a user between webhotelier, RoomPulse and Revhero. They sign in once, with details they already have, and nothing extra to remember.

Revhero supports an unlimited number of users. A new colleague needs a webhotelier account first; once they have one, they can be given access to Revhero.

The same user, with the same credentials, can have access to one or more properties across both Revhero and RoomPulse.

## The 3 roles

Revhero works with the same 3 roles webhotelier uses:

* **Admin**
* **Operator**
* **User**

A person's role in webhotelier is the role they have in Revhero. Change it in webhotelier and Revhero follows.

## Who sets users up

**Your administrator**, in webhotelier.

| What you want to do                      | Where it happens                             |
| ---------------------------------------- | -------------------------------------------- |
| Give a colleague access to Revhero       | Your admin adds them in webhotelier          |
| Change what somebody can do              | Your admin changes their role in webhotelier |
| Give somebody access to another property | Your admin grants it in webhotelier          |
| Remove somebody who has left             | Your admin removes them in webhotelier       |

Removing somebody in webhotelier removes their Revhero and RoomPulse access as well. When a colleague leaves, that is the one place to do it.

## If you cannot see something

Two different things look the same on screen. It is worth telling them apart before you ask for help.

| What you see                                           | What it usually means                                                                                                                         |
| ------------------------------------------------------ | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| You can open a screen but cannot change anything on it | Your role does not allow that action. Your admin can change your role in webhotelier                                                          |
| You cannot see one of your hotels at all               | Start with your admin, who can check your webhotelier access. If that looks right and the hotel is still missing, email <support@revhero.com> |
| You cannot sign in at all                              | This is a webhotelier sign-in question, not a Revhero one                                                                                     |

If your admin has made a change and you still cannot see it, sign out and sign in again.

## If something looks wrong

| What you see                                              | What to do                                                               |
| --------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| A colleague has the wrong level of access                 | Ask your admin to change their role in webhotelier                       |
| Somebody who has left can still sign in                   | Ask your admin to remove them in webhotelier                             |
| Your admin has made a change and Revhero has not followed | Sign out and sign in again. If it continues, email <support@revhero.com> |
