# Manual sync

How changes to your property structure get into Revhero, and how to ask for a resync.

Revhero holds a model of your property: its rooms, its boards, its occupancy combinations, its rate plans and their rates. Properties change, and when yours does, that model is brought back into line for you.

Resyncing is part of the managed service. Revhero administrators ingest the change from webhotelier and reconfigure the property. You do not have to rebuild anything yourself, and nothing drifts quietly out of date in the background.

![What a resync brings in, and what it never touches](https://272652298-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FnzEa7YGji6t92Mfc0ZJ1%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-fd653f27ccd0becd38e979af74af39e2437b3853%2Fwhat-sync-fetches.svg?alt=media)

*A resync brings in rooms, rate plans and rate prices. It does not bring in your booking data.*

## What a resync covers

| Change at the property | What happens in revhero |
| ---------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| A new room type | The room is added, its inventory agreed with you, and its place in the structure set |
| A room type retired | The room leaves Settings and the Pricing grid |
| A new board on a room | The board is mapped and gains a column in Pricing |
| New occupancy combinations | The combinations are brought in and priced within the structure |
| A new or replaced rate plan | The plan is mapped to its board so revhero drives the right rate |
| A different base room type | The base is changed and the affected structures are rebuilt |
| Rate prices changed in webhotelier | The new prices are pulled in and the structures recalculated |

## What it does not cover

* It does not push your rates out. That is the **Send** action on the Yielding Board, and it runs in the opposite direction.
* It does not refresh your booking data. Reservations arrive on their own connection.
* It does not refresh your property management system, which is a separate connection.

## How to ask for one

Email **<support@revhero.com>**. Include:

1. The property name.
2. What has changed in webhotelier — the room type, board, occupancy combination, rate plan or base room.
3. The dates it applies from, if it is seasonal.

We confirm when the change is in place. You will then see it in Settings, as a column in Pricing and as cells on the Yielding Board.

{% hint style="info" %}
If you are building pricing structures more than 12 months ahead, say so. We extend how far forward we pull rate data, so the far-out periods have the rates they need.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="warning" %}
A resync does not refresh your booking data. If the **Last Upd.** stamp on the Dashboard is not current, your reservations are not arriving, and a resync will not change that. Email **<support@revhero.com>** before you act on the numbers.
{% endhint %}
