# From madness to method

A 5-lesson course on turning too much data into confident decisions. One hotel, one day, five moments, each one fixed.

**In this course.** You follow one hotel through one day. At five moments something goes wrong, and you learn how to fix it. About 80 minutes in all, 15 to 20 minutes a lesson.

Most hotels do not have a pricing problem. They have a data problem.

## Who this is for

Owners, general managers, revenue managers, e-commerce teams and anyone who prices rooms. You do not need to know revenue management first, and you do not need a revhero login to read it. Every exercise has a version you can do without one.

If you already use revhero, the [Learn Revhero](/revhero-docs/learn-revhero/learn.md) course teaches the screens. This course teaches the method behind them. Do them in either order.

## How each lesson works

Each lesson is one moment of the day, in the same 5 parts as Learn Revhero: what you will be able to do, the teaching, a worked example, a task on your own hotel, and a short check with hidden answers. The graphics move. If you have asked your device for less motion, they show as a finished picture.

All hotel names and numbers in the examples are illustrative.

## Where this course comes from

This course grew out of the keynote *From madness to method*, given at the 6th Revenue MasterClass in Heraklion on 16/10/2026 by Richard Bedenham, product owner of revhero.
